On Tuesday, October 5, Women in Defence & Security and Women in Aerospace Canada will host a virtual Speed Mentoring event, as part of DEFSEC 2021.  

Speed Mentoring provides a tremendous opportunity for individuals – at any stage of their careers – to meet with senior-level women and men across the aerospace, defence, and security industries, in both the public and private sector. During these 15-minute sessions, mentees seek career advice through conversation and Q&A.  

This event will be conducted virtually using Zoom. We will pair 1-2 mentees with mentors in private break out rooms. There will be five rotations giving different mentees the opportunity to meet multiple mentors and gain valuable career advice. Between each rotation, all the participants will return to the main Zoom room for short presentations about the benefits of mentoring and sponsor spotlights. Like all of our events, this is open to both women and men.
